Rope cutting arrows are commonly used by individuals who are intending to cause distraction or sabotage. Because ropes are nearly impossible to hit and sever with a normal arrow, these arrows are specially made to cut through. The arrowhead is shaped like a "V", with the inner sides of the head sporting sharp blades. When the arrow is strikes a taut rope or cord, treat the rope's hardness as being half what it normall is. In addition, the arrow deals double damage to the rope. When fired at a normal target (such as in combat), the arrow deals damage of one die type less than normal.
